Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Gasly is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what data Gasly handles and how.

Data we collect

Gasly does not collect any personal data. There is no account system, no analytics SDK, and no third-party libraries of any kind.

The data you enter into Gasly (fill-up records, vehicle details, and odometer readings) is stored locally on your device using Apple's CoreData framework and, if you enable it, synced to your personal iCloud account.

Camera

Camera access is used only during an active odometer scan. Gasly processes the live camera feed on-device using Apple's Vision framework. No image or video is captured, saved, or transmitted at any point. Camera access is never used in the background.

Location

Location access is optional. If you grant it, Gasly uses your current location to show nearby fuel stations so you can select one without typing. Your location is not stored in any fill-up record and is never transmitted to any server. Gasly does not use location in the background.

iCloud sync

If you enable iCloud sync (the default), your fill-up records are synced between your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data lives in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's iCloud Privacy Policy. Gasly has no access to your iCloud data.

You can disable iCloud sync at any time in Gasly's Settings.

Third parties

Gasly has no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporters, or analytics tools. No data is ever shared with or sold to any third party.

Children

Gasly does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 and has no mechanism to do so.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
